got my c63amg with perfomance pack on friday just wanted 2 let everyone know that it feels fantastic even more planted to the road than the silver one i have, the steering wheel is beautiful in that alacantara, there seems to be less body roll with the stiffer suspension and less wheelspin on the back with the limited slip. would recemend it 2 everyone who is thinking of going for a c63amg. in my opinion probably one of the best cars on the road 2day.

I have the C63 Estate in Obsidian Black with the Performance Pack and Drivers pack. This is an awesome car. I just cannot see how this does not rate higher than an M3 by the road testers. Track times are irrelevant on the road and the C63 is surely a better proposition there. I have a sneaking suspicion that all the testing versus M3 was done on cars without LSD Option. When I went to collect my car from Saffron in Gerrards Cross ( great service excellent dealers) they had all their stock, including my car, in a Pay and Display Car Park across the road as they were cleaning the Showroom. If you check out Saffrons WS you will not be surprised to learn that this car park then had about 11 million quids worth of cars in it including numerous Ferraris, Astons, Lambos, Audi R8s, Porsches etc etc and guess what car had a crowd around it...yes you guessed, mine! You just got to love it.

Cool - is the LSD essential then..?? Even if it comes with the harder springs that everyone seems to agree are just too firm for everyday driving..??

Congrats on the car though dude..!!

Pics as well please..!!

Can the springs be changed?. It is a bone-shaking experience for everyday driving.

The LSD is available separately now, so you can have it without the harder springs.

My C63 has the performance pack and I don't think it rides too firm..

The ride is definitely not hard. I would describe it as comfortably firm but I have as yet to find any combination of road surface that causes any discomfort or "crashiness". I have got 18" wheels and I think overall they are probably a better bet. I was a bit wary of how they looked in pics but in the metal they are very nice.

I am stillworking on the pics but on a ship now with sloooooooooooooooooooow connection so might have to upload when I get home.

Erm, the handover guy told me the changes but it was all a blur !!

I know the mp3 changer has a greater capacity than the 08 cars (but only by a gig or two)

nice car fastmover2 looks very stealth looking and stunning.

with the drivers pack you get a driving day at a racing track have you been ? and what was it like?
if so is it worth the money they charge?

all the best enjoy.
