right, now correct me if im wrong, but if you are going to be driving, you can have something like 1 unit in an hour, then another unit the next hour, an so on.(might be wrong on this bit, not sure)

so if i were to have, say 4 or 5 shots of 40% rum, how long should i leave it till i can drive.

or a bit easyer, one shot of 40% spirit, how long till your are legaly allowed to drive.

You can legally drive providing you have less than 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. End of story. Nothing to do with units or hours.

If you need to be working that out you have drunk too much to drive.

But as mentioned, if your wondering that your OK to drive, then your probably not.
