New Audi A8?
Pics of 2010 Audi A8 leaked on to web...
While spy photographers spend their days camping out in the woods of Germany, pictures of new cars can turn up in the most unusual places. Images of what is thought to be the 2010 Audi A8 have emerged on Arabic website Gulf4Cars and we have no idea where they come from.
Equally we haven’t got a clue if they are legit or not, but time will tell whether this is in fact the new Audi super-exec. It looks like the new car will be an extensive reworking of the current model instead of all-new and features A4-like front lights. The rears appear to have strips of LEDs and the boot is tapered on either side.
Inside there is a restyled gear shifter and the main MMI controller and audio functions have been relocated. Of course all this may be nonsense and the images have been knocked up by a ten-year-old kid in his bedroom. We’ll have to wait and see…
Discussion
looks nice - the whole Audi range seems to be slowing merging into similar shape cars just in different sizes (A4 front lights, A6 style rears)
the MMI control centre looks to be getting extremely complicated (too many buttons?) ..
All the same looks a good upgrade from the current shape A8 i must say.. new shape S8 please ?

Appears almost Audi A4 like dimensions in the photographs - surely not the real deal.
It does look a bit like A4 dimentions at first glance, but what reli shows its bigger is the rear 3/4 shot. oh, and the fact that those alloys are probably 20"s.Edited by coleo on Monday 29th September 12:01
I would stake all of my pork pie on that being a photoshop.
Have done a few myself in the past and if you look at the wheels compared to the rest of the picture, they are far too bright and don't fit in the arches as they should.
I'd say the biggest give away are the rear lights though. Apart from the fact they don't look properly placed (left one, where it meets the recess in teh boot) again the light and reflections doesn't look right, as if its from another picture.

Audi can't win with this one, by not styling it at all they suffer (deserved) criticism for being too boring and conservative, but judging by what happened when BMW and Mercedes reacted to similar accusations, we now have the current S class and 7 series which are pretty awful looking things really.

Sod the S8, we need an RS8 with a Reventon engine in it to take the fight to the Mercedes S65 AMG.the MMI control centre looks to be getting extremely complicated (too many buttons?) ..

Apart from the lights, can anyone see what on earth they hav actually changed? This must be to do with Porsche owning more of VW...
