Battery powered discrete camera with memory stick

[Oversteer]

Does anyone know if I can get a discrete security/spy cam that
runs off batteries and records onto a memory stick? A friend
said that I could get such a thing from ALDI but they had no
such thing in stock when I went. I'm aware of alternative
solutions that are available but these are not what I want.

Have you tried looking at Maplin, under their CCTV section?

How about a Cat Cam?

A lot of SD camcorders are about the size of a packet of fags. How small do you want?

I do hope no americans are reading this - they'll think our camcorders are still quite big over this side of the pond.....

Several "fags" in a packet = about the same size as:

I have tried maplins, nothing quite matches. A camcorder solution is too expensive,
but catcam looks interesting, thanks.
