1. Margaret Thatcher - sold off council houses at huge discounts.

2. Tony Blair and Gordon Brown presided over an explosion of easy credit while telling the regulator to look at something else.

3. The banks have imploded.

4. Gordon Brown has now bought back many of the council houses at grossly inflated prices by nationalising the most reckless banks.

Or have I missed something??

What we need them to do now is compare the declared incomes on the self-cert liar loans that B&B have in their mortgage book with the income declared to HMRC. Then do the applicants for either fraud or tax evasion if there is a large discrepancy
