I know it has been sort of covered before but i was just wondering what race paint job you guys think would suit Ultimas???

I have seen the Blaupunkt GTR and that looks good but what else??

I think the Gulf colours look great, i also think the Le Mans cars of yesteryear give some great ideas but could you combine old with more modern colours/techniques??

Can't you Photoshop boys get to work on a few designs - I'd love to see the Martini with flared stripes on the horizontal sections of the front, side and rear body - nice!

Whilst you Photoshop boys are at it, if you can change LS7tangos car from orange to black and wheels black to gunmetal that'd be great too wink

I meant so I can see whether the wheels would look right, not to change your scheme.

Although yours would be the perfect base for a Jagermeister makeover.....

what do you all think of the current Mclaren F1 cars colour scheme...

silver
orange/red
black??

White seems to be very popular at the moment so i suppose the Martini colours would look good?? I think the Aston Racers look awesome in Gulf livery!!

I was seriously contemplating replicating the scheme used on the GTC Motorsports Gulf Mclarens of the '95 vintage, modern take on Gulf colours and the F1 not being a million miles away in general shape/outlay etc.
The only reason that I chose not to go this route was because I did not want the car to look like some poor mans half arsed copy of a racing F1 but now realise that few would have made the link. If I ever get tired of the best colour in the world wink, then I might be tempted, but otherwise it will just have to remain on the back burner yes

There was a pic of a very dramatic K&N liveried GTR somewhere, was very striking.

I always thought John Castle's Sport in the Harrods colours looked good. The Gulf and Martini schemes would be be a site to behold too.

the gulf colours have so many variables, some look amazing some look bland? i think if you go for a racing livery you need decals/ numbers etc to make it look right.
