Q for Traders Etc: Lloyds V RBS?

Hi,
given the news re the $700bn being denied, why is it that RBS shares have gone down (significantly) today, yet Lloyds have made a (albeit slight) gain?
Searched the usual sites and I cant see any underlying news that kept Lloyds buoyant, or is it just down to the recent HBOS merger?
