I've had a look on the usual 192.com but the address isn't found. I would like to get in contact with the people living at a property (too far away to travel).

Are there any other ways of doing it? Reason is I had a bike crash outside their house, and some visitors called the air ambulance / police etc and I'd like to thank them. Would the Police give out the phone number of the people who phoned them?

Police would possibly pass your details on to them.

Its a long way away, for them not to be in.

Ideally, I want to get in touch with the people living there, to apologize for the ballache of a heli landing in the field next to them. And then from them I can get the visitors' numbers (who were there buying puppies IIRC) who stayed with me for a bit.

Do you have the address? Perhaps an old fashioned letter would do the trick. You could include another letter for the other people too.

Could it be that you have misspelled the name of the property? Look up the address on the royal mail address finder as it should be listed on there, even if they are ex-directory. Then you at least know you've got the right name.

Can you find the number of someone else in the same street and ask them for the number of the right person?

Is there a PHer nearby that could use a local directory?

There are various tools on Infobel.com
