umm! heard anything Ted? Nothing on the TVR grapevine as yet, but then Dealers are usually the last to know of any changes. This little pearl, if true, will suprise a few people.

Interesting, you've either been plowing through the old posts or my foresight in July (15th) was spot on see here www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=13&h=&t=48193 Does this mean Rude girl has to eat her hat at BTaP instead of her starter then.

Mmmm, Don't think this thread has much credence. Why would you have this information and no one else?

some people will react thus

others will feel more like

I, on the other hand just don't belive anything that is said about TVR until Ben or Peter confirm it themselves, and since neither seem to want to talk to me,for some strange reason, I'll be the last to know.

Generally I'm not a fan of threads like this as they do tend to be based on very little fact, but entertaining the concept briefly, surely when PW retires he'll just sell to the highest bidder and retire a happy, wealthy man knowing he's achieved a lot. To retire with the company in the hands of someone else isn't really retiring is it?

I've no idea if this 'rumour' has any credance but if Ben did want to buy out PW, he has enough financial backing as I know his family background and, lets just say, they are not short of a few pennies.

I hope not, but a good captain with difficult sea conditions to cope with needs as much information as he can get, even if he doesn't like being shouted at. "Rocks ahead" at any volume is a welcomed warning, and as It comes from a fellow passenger, that doesn't like cold water and has a vested interest in seeing the ship safely back in port, most captains would listen.
