(2005) SLK 200 service info

Hi all, just had my (2005) facelift SLK 200 serviced at a MB main dealer, they have reset the service countdown which now reads 9700 miles to service D. Does this sound right I always thought they set the countdown at 12500 miles or am i wrong ??????? any feed back would be excellent

The service indicator will vary with the way you drive so you may get 10k between services or possible 14k. If you do very little miles say 4k per year
on an 05 car the service indicator will call time every 2 years.

Just had the same with my E55, I always assumed that it was 12k between services but mine came back with 9700 to the next service.
