My TD5 just had it’s 72,000 service including it’s MOT, at my local independent Land Rover specialist. The MOT passed (just a couple of bulb replacements) and no issues with the service, just oil and sundries. The bill was over £600

Have I been scammed or is this the usual cost?

Haven't got the paperwork in front of me, but I suspect no, unless that is part of the standard 72k service.

If its just a normal service, then that is a bit high.Check your paper work when you've got 5 mins.

checked the paperwork, it appears the engine oil £62, gear oil £23, anti freeze £35 and the MOT £42. The rest are just sundies. It appears the TD5 either has massive reservoir's or uses expensive oils.
