Hi, im still getting used to which parts are interchangable on these holdens, have to say i dont really like the front end on my cv8, would something like this fit? i much prefer the more angular front ends, if anyone knows what will fit, let me know. Also does anyone know if the flat bottomed vxr8 wheel will fit?

Cheers

"would something like what fit?" pics'd be handy.

In general, any thing from a VXR Monaro would fit a CV8, but good luck getting them. HSV/Holden will not sell HSV parts without the VIN code of the HSV it is to be fitted to. You may be able to get parts second hand though. VXR8 wheels will not fit a CV8/VXR Monaro without some machining.

No nothing from the VE (vxr8) will fit the monaro's

Quite a bit from the VT-VZ models are interchangable. Well drivetrain. vt/vx are pretty much the same vy/vz similar as well.
Basically late 98-05 years.

I wondered about that and been meaning to get around to check out the situation with the brakes as a possible alternative to the AP's. If the VE/VXR8 brakes could be made to fit a Monaro they'd be a useful upgrade over stock and possibly easier to source spares for in the long term.

Should fit easily but don't forget to buy a set of headlights too. The original projector type ones I don't think come in that shape. VX series II Calais Headlights will look pretty good. Yes they will fit easily too. The bits are just like Lego!
