sky tv -reducing package is like pulling teeth

Cheeses christ.
Just succeeded in reducing Sky package to bare minimum. Because I just don't have time to watch football and cricket etc all night/weekend.
Getting down to the minimum was difficult to say the least.
Firstly understanding the Glaswegian accent.
Then it took 10 minutes to persuade the disbelieving dour Scots sort that I could live without movies sport etc as she tried making ever more 'generous' counter offers to keep us subscribed, trying to understand my TV 'needs'.
"What kind of sport do you like?"
"What films?"
"You do realise you would lose UK Gold?"
Feck me, she gave the impression of being genuinely offended. It was as if I was providing the service to [i]them[i/].
It wasn't until I suggested we could save time and just cancel my direct debit that we got somewhere.
