New Owner of t350

i cant believe that i have just picked up my T350 last week.
never thought i would get insured on this as im only 25 with 3 points and drink driving, 3 points and a recent claim.
absolute stunning car in chameleon orange, only 13k miles for £23250, although had a few hairy moments in it, and a new rear diffuser is neededm unsure of how it got damaged, but still cant beat the feeling of driving this motor and the looks it gets

I have a T350 and i am only 22! i never thought i would get insured but i did manage after days and days of calling insurance companys! Now i ain't looked back its a beast!

it was the colour that sold it to me, as soon as i saw it had to get it, and its even better as its quite a rare colour
im insured with privilege, paying 1600, although most companies wanted almost 5k.
absolutly love driving it, and the attention is great. lol

What colour is urs TVRdan, is it the chameleon orange, or red.
yeah ive had a few looks from women with their b.f's and the b.fs dont look happy at all, brilliant.
also had kids taking pics at traffic lights, only thing that worrys me is it getting damaged over night as its paked in residential parking.
think bar the sagaris its the best looking tvr,

Haha i know i am only 22 i am nearly 23... It is a Dark red though it glows orange in the sun when its polished up. I thought it was orange when i saw it on autotrader as well but it is a nice colour. Both the orange and red. Mine is kept garaged so no one can harm it. find it hard to park it up anywhere because you get so many people looking at it and you just hope no one decides to damage it for some reason? I love my TVR always wanted one so while all the other lads maxed out there corsa's i just saved up and bought this best thing i ever did!

it is a nice colour, thats what i like about urs and mine they stand out that little bit more, as if the engine doesnt make them do that anyway

i know what u mean, ive got an astra vxr aswell, but the astra feels like a landrover now and so slow, even though it is still a quick car,

my rear diffuser is damaged, and im not sure if its some kids that have done it as ive not caught anything, which is making me paranoid about where i park it.

do u drive urs a lot, or just over weekends?

When i first bought it i drove mine everynight for 2 weeks when it was nice but because its been raining lately its stayed in But its nice at the moment so might get it out! I don't need to do anything the noise is that amazing people just look for that. The Colour when i saw mine made me buy it as it was so nice i just knew then i had to have it but never told the guy selling it that haha

so far ive been driving mine everyday, the astra's not been looked at since, just sat there, but this is costing me an arm and a leg in petrol at the moment, but its worth every penny.

i dont see the point of owning a car like this and not driving it fequently, although it is understandable in the wet as they can be a bit twitchy, accidently had mine at a 45 degree angle on a dual carrigway but managed to stabalise it, so all good and lesson learned.

gotta admit the garage are being pretty good as they are looking after the car when i go away, and are going to fix any niggles that ive got with it.

have u had any probs?

So far touch wood - No... boy am i gonna regret that haha going in for a service soon though as i want it checked out and to have a few things upgraded not the engine though as insurance is enough as it is haha yeah i've had it out once just after it rained and i put it straight back agan as it felt like it had ice skates on the back wheels! not a good idea! As for the garage looking after it while your away... thats bloody handy! at least its not left outside! I am quite lucky as i have a double garage so i can put my car away and have loads of space to clean it up and check it over. i also purchased a small solar panel for the roof to trikle charge her while its sat in there! Want to go to a meet and talk to some people who have had the car a while so i can get some advice but not sure where they are. I live near blackpool so must be one here soon haha

i hear there batteries arnt to good when left locked and alarmed, so need to invest in something, also thinking of getting the sports exhaust but that will be at a later date.

i was very unfortunate as when i picked the car up it was pissing down with rain, it was only the second time i had driven it, was a bit scared, as wasnt sure how the back end would be, but managed, its actually an easy car to drive in the wet, just gotta be very careful through the gears.

atleast with the garage looking after it i know its safe, and all issues will be sorted for me,

definatly need to upgrade the head unit and speakers although dont really use them much, as love listening to the car.

im not looking farward to when these new car tax bands come in either, as these will be very expensive motors to tax

would like to meet up with other t350 owners, but im at the other end of the country in reading, lol

Not true! TVRs are low volume and therefore exempt from the emissions. Check your V5 states your car as PLG.

I`ve left the Sagaris locked and alarmed for 2 weeks without problems (on holidays) but I dunno how old your battery is or if anyone has ever flattened it dead..

I just like to keep mine well charged so that i am not stuck without it. no problems with the battery so far. I picked mine up in leeds on a really hot sunny day i loved it but not use to city driving so was a bit nervous then got a prat in a nissan almera wanting a race at a set of lights lol i just said why would i want to do that? i already know what will happen? haha he just laughed. i am happy to hear that it won't be as expensive to tax as well as i was expecting a huge bill! I have a sports exhaust fitted and it does sound awresome just hope you've got understanding nieghbours like me though and you can't really drive it after 9ish as i am pretty sure people will start to complain! oh well let em haha! As long as you don't plant your foot in the wet or take corners like nigel mansall i think you'll be ok in the wet. I don't like getting it out in the wet though as its never seen the rain yet

I have the perfect cure for that. The more time you spend driving it, the less time it can sit there flattening the battery. I've heard of trickle chargers but why do that when you could take the car out?
