As some may remember, I have tatty collapsed intake pipes. (I think I'm becomming obsessed by these pipes!)

If I got nice fat new ones (or short intake one) would this effect engine temperatures in any way - ie lower them at all?

Sorry if it's a stupid question

Ive never noticed any difference .. in theory you should have an engine which is less likely to put strains on the cooling system most of the time because it would run more efficiently once remapped, but then again when youre on full throttle youre producing more power when remapped so that should make more heat .. in reality I doubt you would see any differences in engine temps from the pipes and remapping alone.
