Apprentice star Tre Azam has vowed to clear his name after being found guilty of falsely claiming thousands in benefits.
Azam, 29, got 80 hours community service and was told to pay just under £7,000 costs.
He was found guilty of three counts of fraud involving council tax and housing benefits over eight months - despite earning £2,000 a month from his firm, ID Consultants.
He failed to declare over £17,000 in earnings while claiming £8,685, which he used to rent his home in Loughton, Essex. He also kept an HSBC bank account secret from officials.
Azam swore at reporters as he left court in Chelmsford. He then said he planned to appeal.
He said: "I'll fight this. I'm completely innocent. I never intended to cheat."
His lawyer added: "This is a travesty of justice."

At the risk of being branded racist by the inhouse PH PC Stasi, we find that a high proportion of Asian gentlemen that my recruitment business deals with consider benefits to be a right in addition to their salary, rather than an alternative to it. He showed us a video of his best bits, then told us all how even though he didn't love his wife he stayed with her for the sake of their child, then went round the room telling us how great he is. Though it seemed he was not only trying to convnce us of his greatness, but himself too.
I was impressed with what he'd managed to do, but I was appauled by how up himself he was.
