M400 camshaft timing positions
Discussion
My m400 is currently only running on one bank of 3 cylinders. Trying to rule out as many possibilities as possible as I am in IOM and to trailer the car to a Noble dealer / repair shop would be very expensive.
Does anyone know the timing positions for each camshaft x 4 and crankshaft position @ top dead centre.
Any help/ suggestions gratefully received.

how did the fault develop, ie put it away fine and wouldnt start etc
Thinking about it, there arent any parts that could do that because of the firing order, can only think of fuel rail, seriously flooded or cam followers, id take the plugs out first, the racecar broke a follower so lost oil pressure on that bank, stopping the others from lifting properly.

Many thanks for the responses. I also posted on US Noble Forum and Paul Wilson had same problem recently and posted info.

Hopefully no collateral damage.

The comment about having the engine turn backwards due to rolling back in gear is interesting, there may be something in the cam chain tension design that backs it off which can make it jump on start up. Certainly worth keeping in the back of your mind if you leave the car in gear.
Good luck Barry.
