Hiya sorry to trouble you at home but i've just kinda broke the news to Col about what i've planned for the car. He took it better than i thought however he's got a couple of questions. Firstly heres the list
1/Sports Pack with cat back exhaust
2/3.9 Diff
3/Ripper
4/Service
bounce
Ok here we go. How long would you have the car?
Roughly what horses would it be pushing out?
How would it effect 0-60 times?
I think you said the quarter with the right technique would be mid 13s

Thanx again for your time. Your answers should keep him sweet::

Hi Mel

Be good if i was at home

We would need the car for 2 days. We can supply a courtesy car, possibly one of the Monaros. There is no charge for this.

Power will be circa 390bhp.

Can't say ive ever measured the 0-60 so couldn't give a figure, but faster is the answer.

I believe with the right technique on a good track, and lower tyre pressures a mid 13 is possible. Ive done it in 13.9 (at the pod) with a standard diff and 20 less horsepower.

I think the combination above makes a good all round quick road car that will do resonable numbers at the strip. We have quite a few customers with NA cars, most of them with headers too, that run 3.9 diffs. I think ive said it before, if you were looking at a supercharger in the long term then the diff may ultimately work against you, especially if you go big power. So bear this in mind.

I just read the reply out to Col i said out loud "no we don't want a supercharger" Col said "not yet you don't" which made me laugh. Wondering which one of us is the man herehehe

He's then added "tell Monkish i want 22inch one spoke alloys and 7 inch chrome quad pipes" if that's alright but he has just come in off a twelve hour shift so take no notice. I'll get my way. I always dohehe

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I just wanted to double check the sports pac does come with the cat back exhaust doesn't it?
You said the chrome pipes are slightly bigger than ours. How much bigger. I'm not to worried it's him indoors.

Yes, Sport pac comes with exhaust. The tail pipes i dont currently have to hand but no more than 1/2 inch bigger,, probably a 1/4 inch.
