MOT - Emissions
Discussion
Got my Westfield running again (yay!) after it having languished in the garage for a couple of years and am taking it for an MOT on saturday.
Please could someone advise on what emissions standards it should be tested against.
Car was built and registered in 1992. Registered on current 1992 "K" Plate rather than a "Q" plate as allegedly built from new parts.
V5 states "amateur build vehicle".
It always used to be tested on the basis of visible smoke test only, but I think the regs may have changed recently.
Grateful for any advice.

It should be tested against the 1992 regs and limits, but if you can find a friendly garage it may well sneak through regardless. My last MOT place didn't have a brake test section as their rollers were buggered. And since the tester thought my car was far too mad to get in, he didn't even want to go up the road with a G meter! Still got my test cert though as he watched me pull up straight and square from 30!
