Hi guys,

Saw this on youtube and had to share it with you.
This is what happens when you have an LP640 Roadster in the UK...The chances of a downpoor are just too high! I bet he wished he had a Gallardo Spyder or two now. That's the main problem with these motors I think, unless you live in Monaco! Anyone been lucky enough to own/drive one?

Has anyone seen a Murcie/LP640 roadster with the top on? It looks like an ill-fitting beret. I'd love an LP640 roadster but I'd emigrate first.

Theres a carbon fibre substitute that I believe you can get. When off, it sits on top of the engine. Just like the Diablo Roadster...

ETA: But I do agree, the regular top looks shocking...

A buddy of mine has an LP640 Roadster, and is first in line to get the Genaddi Designs carbon roof. It's a series of panels that fits in the boot.

At the end of the above video there is a yellow one that appears to have its roof up (see the last seconds of the vid)

That's an excellent idea, long overdue I think.. Is he UK based? I struggle to believe why you would have an LP roadstser in the UK, well unless of course money is no object. However with this new roof, it sounds like it will make it much more useable... It baffles me why Lambo didn't think about this. I suppose it's why the G Spyder is so popular! Do you have any pics of the retro fit roof?

I noticed the gold roadster, he had the right idea keeping the roof on. London is unbelievable, I've never even seen one LP roadster,let alone two!! If I had one I'd be too scared to use it incase of a sudden downpoor..
