What do people recommend about sensor cleaning for a Canon 5D?
How much does Canon charge and has anyone had any experience of their service?
Is it worth risking doing it oneself?

£35 at London Camera Exchange.

5D is susceptible to oil and grease marks on the sensor (requires a 'wet' clean) as well as the usual dust (which can be cleaned with a 'dry' clean) as it seems widely acknowledged that Canon over-oiled the shutter mechanism which can cause the odd splat on to the sensor.

Also see my other thread on page one or two regarding a discounted offer on all the kit needed to do both wet and dry cleans.
