Where to get a new Sofa immediately (other than IKEA)?

[Emeye]

As the title really, I don't want to wait 4-5 weeks for a new sofa if I can help it, but all the ones at Ikea are uncomfortable.

Oh, I want to spend max £1000, I'm in the Manchester area and I want to try before I buy!

Cheers.

infact . . on my way in to work this morning i passed through a sketchy estate. There was a nice blue sofa outside someones house.

There was a 2 and a 3 seat. looked quite comfy!

might be a little damp, but if you want i can go back and give better description?
