Not a poll as yet, just a query as to who'd be interested?

The easiest option would be to make the usual first-Tuesday meet a dinner meet at the Red Lion instead of just drinks.

Alternatively we could do a Sunday lunch somewhere...

I know it's still early, but what do people think?

G'day all...well hot off the heels of attending the PH Perth WA meet last night, I am catching up on some home news.

Christmas dinner, well I would be a tentative as it depends on the usual mix of other things going on at that time of year. Otherwise, hope all is well on the WM front.

I'd be up for a meal, and I'm not fussed if it was a Tuesday or Sunday.

Next door to you, last time we checked! tongue outwink

(More seriously, it's got to be near Daventry - Warks is WM, N'hants is EM)

Depends on date, cost, whereabouts (Red Lion do good food smile) and my work situation - contract ends January, so I have to save save save, as didn't expect it to end till next June so spent spent spent - just too damn efficient laugh

I've had to drop out of the SAS Xmas do for the same reason (I'm an honorary member of the SAS as I lived down there for so long/still make regular drives down there for beer/and have more mates there than anywhere else on PH hehe, bit like Famous Graham)

Oh, I'm sure I'll be able to manage to pay for a starter & glass of water hehe Unlike the SAS 'do' where I'd need more petrol, hotel etc

Like I said, tis the date mainly biggrin

If the Anoki indian isn't too far for you guys you'd be welcome to join our dinner on 16th December.

A few of us went tonight and the food was amazing.

£27 per head. Included in that price you get poppudoms, starter, main, pudding, and coffee.

Its a 5 star place, really really nice atmosphere.

Check out the thread for info.

yes

It's on the A38 near Burton upon Trent, so not too far for those of you Birmingham way, in fact it's probably more West Midlands than it is Derby.

I'm certain that we would make you all more than welcome if you chose to join us (when we have something agreed hehe), in the meantime however how about Bonfire Night?
