judgeNow im probably biased on this subject as i have only ever owned Cerbs and as this is a Cerb forum i guess a lot of other people will be biased too but im presuming that a lot of you will have owned other TVR`s?What-in your opinion makes the Cerb the best Tiv?I love my Cerb to bits but like the 450 Wedges and if i save my pocket money im sure a Sag wouldn`t go amiss!...........but i would keep the Cerb! What is the general concensus of opinion?(he says opening a can of worms!!!)

I have driven a few different types of TVR, I have had rides in a few too on the road and track, but for me the best of all is the Cerbera, an all rounder on the road and track, Sagaris and Tamora come in second and third for driving and the Griffith comes first over all for the most frightening to drive quick, just my point of view you understand.

C'mon then - Why is it? smile

Personally I think the Cerbera has the greatest 'Charisma', hard to define, but everywhere you go it attracts admiration from everyone, and it's the unique AJP V8 which just makes it so special.

I've had Chimaeras and a Cerb, the Cerb just happens to tick all my boxes, so it's my favourite TVR, but the Griff and Chim are also great cars, and nothing beats the sound, and that rumble that the old RV8. If TVR had just stayed with producing these 3 cars, then I reckon they would still be going strong today, not as a huge volume manufacturer that they mistakenly tried to be, but happily chugging along just like Morgan.

Cerb... Just another four seat saloon car, now the Griff is a proper two seat open top sports car..

I have owned both a 4.3 Griffith, and a Cerbera which I currently own. And I can say without question, the Cerbera is king. I did/do love the Griffith, and always will. But like every other performance car before, I sold it on after a year. The Cerbera is the only performance car that has kept my attention for more than a year. It'll be 3 years next april. And I can't see it going anytime soon. Especially after spending so much time and money restoring her.

The Griff is a fabulous car, and a worthy second. But the Cerbera just has so much more speed, beauty and presence.
