It only started off as needing a bit of the floor replacing... it's a bit too easy to get carried away sometimes eh.


Don't ask what's going on with the lump of chassis missing - it was like that when I pulled it all apart. There are some damned odd welds going on there too. It looks like it was someones learning to weld project biggrin

Not to worry about the missing bits, it looks as if you have two chassis worth of metal there plus some spare bits so it should be OK. smile

Right guys, I need your help.

I've got a second hand Ford Sierra towbar so I can pull that shiny tub above
Most of the running gear on the Griff is Ford Sierra of some sort I thought I'd grab it because it was stupidly cheap - Only I cant find any way to attach it to the Griff.

Would it be OK to weld tow bar fixing points to the chassis?

Ask Shpub I,m pretty sure he had a trailer on his wedge, I think it was just for carring spare wheels/tyres for track days so not sure about weight etc.


ETA does this mean you'll be pulling a Caravan down to next years Le Mans!!!

Cant get the golf clubs in the Griff boot then, needed additional space !!.

Can get 3 sets in a Chim, why ,I dont know but you canbiggrin
