Looking to spend no more than £1200 for a new cooker. Must have 2 or 3 ovens plus seperate grill.
There doesn't seem to be any real price difference buying on line or the usual Comet/currys etc.
Anybody know where to find a bargain?

Also - catalytic liners?

Catalytic liners
These liners on the sides, and sometimes the roof and back, of the oven are treated with a special material that absorbs grease splashes. When the oven is run at around 200°C or higher, the splashes are burnt off.

Most ovens have replaceable liners as over a long period they can become saturated and will no longer burn off all the fat and grease. However, a few ovens have 'painted' on linings which cannot be replaced.
Liners are also called 'Oxylytic' and 'CeramiClean' by different manufacturers

Do they work or do you you still have to scrub and scub to clean?

Fisher and Paykel are pretty ace. Ours was about £1200 and looks like this:

2 separate ovens - both the same size, not 1 massive and 1 pitifully small.

Bought off t'internet, not from a shop.

Yes, yes, I know. Worst "I have a massive oven" thread ever.

That seems very reasonable price wise. For some reason I had in my mind that they were closer to 5k.

Beats an Aga for value anyway.

At this price level I'd suggest you look at Rangemaster. Good vfm without breaking the bank.

List is around £1,400 but in this market you should be able to pick one up for around £1,200 fairly easily...

Good colour choice, solid or windowed doors and choice of fuels.

Cannon are probably the best VFM they are the most reliable unless spending AGA money.

HAd a SMEG range in the last house. Worked well and looked great. Think they might be expensive though (think my range was about £2K)

We've got a Range Master Toledo,
Got it from Homebase as a complete kitchen, I guess it aint a bad cooker, looks alright in stainless steel and black. Only problem we did have was with the plate warmers, sorted now but for some reason they had a fault cause it to short out. Had to replace the whole top part all under warrenty

Nothing to add, but please make sure you have an adequate gas supply at the point of use. We've had a number of instances where the gas supply has had to be uprated....
