After a 4ftx4ft sheet of 1/2" thick T6 ally, anyone know a good supplier?

ask for lee pepperell in sales, tell him i sent you (sid) from sns racing manchester.

very helpfull!! and an EXELLENT price.

i got a 2x2 ft x 8mm. cut while i was there........... £46.01. all in.

or you could shop around the usual??.

T6 is the heat treatment, lots of alloys come in this temper, , what sre you using it for,

Rear motor plate and axle mounting plates

If this is for a 6.30 tag for say a fuel altered with a steel back axle,then you cant use ali for the axle push plates,has to be moly quarter not being a smart arse just trying to save you grief,,,,,,bill

Also the motor plate only needs to be quarter plate ,unless you are using a multi stage lock up clutch,which means you would need quarter plate moly,,,,,,,bill

The axle is a Strange Toploader if that makes a difference, I think they're modular ally?
Clutch is just a simple 3 disc alky clutch

See where your coming from,toploaders are a nice piece,and of course ,beingmodular should allow you to tag below,ie faster than 6.30.....interesting clas fuel altered isnt it? building a monster fuel burner for next year for a customer ,,,,,bill
