Watch your aspect ratio's on the tyres, just cos they are wider doesen't mean there's more contact patch on road.
you could end up losing traction.

I've just had my S1 painted Lava Orange, I was quoted £2400 for the whole job but the bloke doing it has taken 12 months to do it and I've had to do most of the rebuilding! I'm made up with the colour though, I've but some black compomotives on with some other black details, so far it looks fantcastic! I too was going to go for Scandal Green but I'm glad I chose Orange now.
well believe it or not i work in the trade and getting it done for £1500 all in! and will take around 3-4 weeks! or so they say!!
yep i did settle on orange before but loads of people have done it thats why i thought kawasaki green with white alloys!! still undecided though! any pics of yours please as want to see the wheels more than anything else!!
thanks for the replies so far!

£1500 is very good considering the amount of work thats involved, I was told mine would take 2-3 weeks but I'm still waiting nearly a year on! I will take some pics tomorrow.
In the mean time have a look at this lovely Scandal Green one, it belongs to somebody from the Norlog forums http://norlog.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=124
Cheers

You're tyre sizes are fine: standard size upgrade for the S1 and the sizes the the Lotus Yoko Advan come in.
I think you may be as much as an inch too wide on the front a wheels though (I think Lotus supplied 'Victories' were 6J for the same tyre size).
The MOs are quiet a heavy wheel - have you looked at the Rotas (similiar design) which I think are lighter. Check them out at either or both Elise-shop or Eliseparts.

The MO's are heavier but I was going through quite a few of the standard 111S wheels as they seem to buckle for fun. I could get a set of MO's for the price of a single 111S rear, so the offset of extra weight against cost is favourable for me.I think you may be as much as an inch too wide on the front a wheels though (I think Lotus supplied 'Victories' were 6J for the same tyre size).

How do you possible damage your wheels so often and easly? Do you drive like my missus or what! Never put a scratch on my wheels and I can drive plus trackdays, I do quite a few.
