Anyone else have random aches and pains that disappear for strange reasons?

Yesterday afternoon my neck started hurting, felt like it needed to click but wouldnt. That went on to a pain down across my shoulders and across my shoulder blades, constantly there and was worse when I turned my neck to the left.

I'd done a fair amount of driving last week so shought no more about it, went to bed, still there all day today up until I ate a chilli, and now it's gone. Almost instantly

Yep, but mine tend to be chest related, and or back related

Sounds like a trapped nerve. It can get 'untrapped' and stop hurting at anytime.

Either that or your going to die.

I get aches in my neck and shoulders, then numb skin near my C4/5. I went to see a Swedish, Theraputic, Remedial, Sports & Active therapist today, I had the most intense massage.

All my sore bits were really tender to pressure and he could tell all my stress places by the muscle texture, he kneeded all my muscles to bits.
I feel a bit sore now but can tell my shoulders are all relaxed.
(mostly caused by poor posture at work and a whiplash injury 10 years ago!)

Highly recommended! biggrin

I totally agree. I got to my physio once every 6 weeks for a really good massage, i pay into a health scheme at work (3.20P/W), and get a £50 massage every 6 weeks out of them, result!!!!

for me I found poor posture has a lot to do with odd aches and pains that cant be specifically explained.

Yup - it's the onset of old age!

Acupuncture has sorted my neck out - now fully mobile and pain-free. Then last week my left thumb started to 'click' and I get shooting pains up my wrist - apparently it's called Trigger Thumb, so that's another nuisance to put up with.

But then I am about 3 stones overweight which doesn't help.

Whats weird is food sorted it out though. Maybe coincidence, but I've had it before - dont eat, get pains across my shoulders

Might look at one of these massage places

You really should contact the Daily Mail, you may have stress related non organic fruit dementia with health and safety complications. In 2008 you should not expect to have any aching at all, its a rediculous pre C21 injury, it may even be the Y2K virus, but don't overlook Anthrax, Global warming enduced skin cancer, heart pain after 7 months on the Atkins diet, MRSA, Polish Immigrant disease or just plain simple mummy's boy, cry baby's skin pain. I recommend plenty of Paracetamol and alcopops, or perhaps you should give up your addiction of "chilli" and try some chile, or just wait a week until you recover from your wive's cooking and stick to Pot Noodle.
