Using V-Power and advancing the ignition
Discussion
Hi Guys.
I've got a Peugeot 205, which is a great car that I love very much!
However, I was idly wondering this fine Saturday, given that it has has a manually adjustable distibutor, would it be any advantage to me to simply fill the car up with V-power and advance the ignition a bit more?
Would this produce any more power to speak of?
Cheers for the input.

It would produce more power, whether you can feel it is another matter.
I run megasquirt with a switch on the dashboard that swaps ignition maps for when i'm running optimax/tesco. Switching between tables whilst under load just seems to change the exhaust note to be harsher - no sudden urge of power though!
