Remaps on their own are about £700 at Austec. Sounds a lot but any proper dyno map needs to be very thoroughly calibrated to your particular engine & any mods, making the ignition/fuel adjustments at each load site, so often a day's work if done well. I was pleased with results there by Paul on mine.

Also you're paying for the operator's expertise - worth checking that with others beforehand - in spotting problems before/when they happen and saving your engine/transmission if something suddenly isnt right (eg my clutch recently, swiftly saved from burn-out when it slipped at max. torque at another dyno!)
