I totally agree with you and indeed had a cat for 16 years that never set a paw outside and the couple of occassions he did he scared the
out of himself.
Just leave the small minded ones to their opinions which they obviously cannot verbalise without the need to insult someone else and stay on the TVR forums where it's always peace and happiness

I know the feeling of being disilusioned at PH, had the same sort of thing a while ago and rarely venture into P&P or GG because of it. The good guys are here though. Hang around mate. PH needs the good guys like you to counterbalance the planks that seem to frequent all to often these days.

Don't worry about it, Ant. The mods are pretty hot on personal abuse - I don't think you'll see him around for a while.
P&P is not really Pistonheads, just a diversion to keep us involved and on-line when there's nothing going on in TVR land. Don't take it seriously.
I get regularly flamed there and sometimes go there looking to flame some other hapless moron when I'm feeling punchy. Nobody takes it too much to heart. It isn't possible to have 65,000 friends...

Ant, if you decide to stick with your decision I'll understand, but you'll be missed here.
It's a sign of the times I'm afraid, twerps everywhere, but it's simple enough to ignore them. As several have said above - avoid GG & P&P and it's pretty much as it was. Sometimes we fall out amongst ourselves here, but at least we're grown up enough in this little section to forgive and forget, or at least let bygones be bygones.
Maybe take a break and we'll see you again soon.

Hey buddy i have just read the topic concerned..... My 5k plus post's have been in the p&p and as a result of that i am hardened to the wGet a precat!

For a while now I have stayed well out of P&P and GG, just due to the quality and content of stuff being posted on there. No longer is it a place where you get advice, if you need it, a good discussion with a bit of banter. Now anything that is posted always comes back with flaming or ends up being attacked by some narrow minded
Also some of the bigoted comments turning up on there has shocked me quite a lot. PH has really lost it's sense of community on the general forums. IMHO.
I tend to stick to the TVR and Lotus forums now.
