linky no work.

For speed cameras the only database worth having is the one from pocketgpsworld. The tom tom one is worse than useless

aha the link is working now, earlier it just went to a domain holding page... whichever way you go they are all cheap, just dont go for the tomtom own brand camera system !

ETA: I have tom tom traffic, it uses bluetooth to your mobile (assuming you have a bluetooth capable tomtom). So far havent been very impressed but then at that price you might as well have it. One of those things that if it works its good but if it doesnt no great loss. Thats where it differs from the speed camera database, that IS important and needs to work !

I know nothing of the pocketgps database but I would say that the TomTom database is most definitely not useless. In a recent 3500 miles driving holiday it missed one camera that I noticed, which I think is not bad. There may be better alternatives but the TomTom one does exactly what it says on the tin.

+1

The PocketGPS database is nigh on perfect BUT needs a little more know-how to download, set up etc than the official updated

The pocketGPS people give away a lifetime free subscription to anyone reporting a new camera (subject to verification) = lots of eagle eyed drivers on the lookout for new scameras smile
