Just noticed that the armourfend foil on the front is coming off on two spots on the Exiges. First I thought someone might have bumped into me or scratched it but that's not the case. Is it common? 1.75 years old now... the car

Mine started to look really bad after 2yrs and over 20k miles, so I removed it. Looked great again, although I guess a respray will have to be on the list at some point now.

Well Im in this line of business and I give a life time warranty on the product and the installation.
The only way to sort the problem of areas lifting is to trim back but this should not happen.
Two years is a long time in the development of the next generation of films which are clearer and stronger.
Its a no brainer and has to be included in keeping your pride-and-joy looking good.

What's the best thing to do to fix it? Just renew the complete armourfend or can you patch smaller areas? (guess not).

Armourfend is coming off my car as well and its only a year old just. Is it worth me asking the dealer if this stuff is warranted?

The only way to sort the problems of the film lifting is really to replace it.
It doe's maybe create another problem if your car has had any body/paint repair as the film will lift the paint if not allowed to dry for two weeks prior to installation.
If its factory paint still then no problem.
Email me if you want and we can chat about sorting situation
