Probably shouldn't be under this topic, but seems to the most appropriate place. I'm looking for a tailor for some work suits and there seems to be a whole range of people offering made to measure and bespoke suits fom £300 to £3000. I'm in South Bucks and was wondering if anyone could make any recommendations. Thanks in advance, Chaffs

That guy gets a number of good reviews.
There's some hong kong guy that does tours that's meant to be very good too.

I get my suits from Gresham Blake:

Recommend them completely, I have some bespoke and others off the peg which they will alter to you for free. Really nice suits, bit more contemporary and the shirts are really good to. They are great for me as I never wear ties.

Chaffs,

Sorry to come in late on your enquiry.

Before I retired I used to get suits etc made by Tom James. They have a bespoke service and their main advantage is that they come to your place of work for all enquiries, fittings etc. They are good, although quite expensive of course. Maybe you could contact them. Try www.tomjamesco.com and then go to their Europe page to get the details.

Good luck!

Alexandre of Savile Row are excellent if you want something contemporary. They have a royal crest (for what that's worth) and are at number 38 or 39 I think. I have had some of their suits for 3 years and they still look fresh. I've only had made to measure, but I gather their bespoke items are incredible. Failing that, Kilgour are hard to beat.
