What's going on here then?

I'll have a go...
The first thing is that the throttles show 26-29 degrees open, but you're revs are only just over a grand. Normally this should be enough to have the ajp revving to high heavens. I would think then that either your throttle pots are badly out of their proper setup, or that there's something physically blocking the intake. I would suspect also that if there is something blocking the inlets, then its on the odd bank (n/s) as that side is showing rich from your lambdas (hence why your adaptives are maxed out trying to lean the mixture down), and your even bank is maxed out trying to richen the mixture (very low lamdba>> lean mixture).
Anyway, it looks as if the sensors are doing their respective jobs, so I would be out there taking the intake apart looking for problems.

if youve got one bank full negative and one bank full positive it's 99.999% certain youve got the lambdas plugged in to the wrong bank .. have you had the plugs disconnected or had any work done where a garage might have disconnected them?

Ah replying to my own post .. yes youve just had an engine change by a garage if it's who i think it is!! possible 4.7 back to 4.5? if i've got the right person then yes i bet they've got your lambdas the wrong way around, easy to do .. people look at the O on the lambda and think it means offside,in fact it means odd bank or nearside .. an easy swap if you have thin arms, just swap the plugs over by the starter motor

Yeah, loooong story there....
Will have a look at that tomorrow, is it worth also having a bash at re-setting the TP's? Cheers Joo

What's the story on your engine 'swap' Max? I know part of the story, you must be fuming, and I feel for you. Did you eventually get the 4.2 replaced with a 4.5?
Hi Alan,Yep, sourced a 4.5 myself and had it put in - to be honest I'm just very pleased to have the car back after a year and a half. Got the 4.5 brakes as well, so those little monkeys will go on shortly too.
It was a bit of a rush to get the block in for one reason and another so the lambdas the wrong way aound could well be the problem. (But a VERY big thanks to Mike Foster for his help)
So much to do on the car, the thing that's really annoying me is the multitude of scratches it seems to have picked up. Am now thinking of a re-spray to black, would love orange but the interior would have to be done too...
