Has anyone ordered from them?

looking to get the Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS (Canon AF) from them as they are the cheapest i can find at £249.99 but never heard about them before.

can anyone set my mind at rest?

Sigma is a respected independent but f6.3 is very slow and might hinder autofocus...

I'd be wary, they don't list a proper address and the goods may not be Sigma UK so you maybe without a UK warranty(ie maybe grey market). Review on t'interweb don't seem too good, but strikes me if you're going to go grey market you might as well save a decent sum and get it from HK.

They seem to list that lens in the refurb section as well.

had a look and they have a reg address in Leicester and has SSL which makes me feel better, well i'll find out in 5 days i suppose.

regarding the lens, it's the best i could find for the budget with OS with that range. i know what you mean about the auto focus but i don't think i will need it so quick for what i want it for. taking it to australia at the end of the year along with the 50mm f1.8 and the kit 18-55 with the 400d, i think that will see me through for now.

I bought a camera from them a few years ago. Couldn't fault them for service. Arrived next day, no problems at all.

I opted for one of these over the Nikon equiv recently for my D80 - there wasn't enough in it to justify the extra £200. Got mine from Jessops (wouldn't normally but was the same £250 you've found). Versatile lens for the money.

6.3 is slow but I haven't found a prob with AF. Some comments suggest that it can put the camera's metering out by 2/3 stop so you might need to compensate for that. Zoom ring rotates counter-intuitive too.
