Definately a credit crunch?
Discussion
Having put my tuscan on the market last week I have had one enquiry from Holland! Is it really that bad out there for these supercars at bargain prices? I don't know if maybe i'm asking too much in the current climate but it was the research & development car, the only one ever reg in 1999 as a T plate and has only covered less than 12k miles. I know no one can say how much things are truly worth but not even any enquiries. I am truly surprised.
is that a dig at me?? I am certainly not going to be drawn into a s
gging match however what is classed as not responding? I sent more photos as requested and haven't heard a thing, i'm not a car dealer and don't do this everyday so am i supposed to drive to holland? if the chap was serious then i'm sure he would have made his intentions clear. when i was looking i made some tentative enquiries before making my intentions clear, that's what i assume(d) this was.

i said that i was getting fed-up with sending mails to GB and never getting an answer

i have the money but the islanders aren't interested ????
he said he had the same exprience
perhaps the story isn't all that what he has said

i have emailed again the chap concerned and try to put the record straight. i am disappointed you feel you have been let down. for me you have to show you are really interested, ask all the right questions and then try and see it. i don't know if logistically that would always be possible for you but i don't see how else you will manage to purchase. incidentally if you are in the market is mine of interest?
your car looks fine to me but i would like to have a blue one
there's one on pistonheads (reg date 2000)
offered 12000 didn't even get an response ???
so i believe there's no financial issue going on in GB
in a years time he can look back and regret not taking the offer

You don’t always have to view cars before making an offer, when I purchased my Tuscan I agreed a price based upon the market at the time without viewing from a private seller, I also agreed that if it was not as described then the deal was off, got a bankers draft, went up on the train, came home in a Tuscan, some people buy with their heart and not their head!!!
Some people find it difficult or inconvenient to view cars up and down the country

When I got back, I drove 34 miles before the realisation that the engine was '*'*'*' out.
Needles to say, a little causion may have saved me a lot of money.
But, still love both my Wife and my Tuscan.
