I bled mine and went through almost 500ml - be on the safe side and buy 1 litre

If you are just bleeding then you need very little. If you are purging then use as much or as little as you like. Personally, I'd buy 500ml, but if you want to go for 1 litre, buy 2 500ml bottles, and see how it goes. I don't like having opened bottles on the shelf too long.

If you're using 5.1 make sure you flush it though every year.

I put 5.1 in my brakes 18 months ago. After 12 months it was so full of moisture the brakes boiled within 5 laps of Spa. This didn't happen the year before on the same fluid.

5.1 may be better than 4.1 but 4.1 lasts longer.
