I always thought it was "Bow-Say" rather than the more oft-heard "Bows".

Anyone know?

I've always pronounced it 'bowes' but yeh as everyone else is saying, it is just overpriced crap... It's the brand you're paying for, the equipment is usually tat.

They are an American company and they pronounce it "Bows" in all their advertising here... so I assume that's how it's pronounced.

Bose, FWIW, is actually an Indian name. Indian guy started the company over here.

For some reason I thought it was a Belgian company. I think i've been fed some bullst by somebody...

My only experience of the brand is an Ipod sound dock thing (which is OK for listening to music in the kitchen) and some ear phones which have shed the stupid, furious-rage-inducing, plastic-crap ear bits.

But I KNOW for sure that the "Moet" in Moet et Chandon is pronounced "Mow-Ett"

It's the German word for lion. But do feel free to carry on calling it whatever you want
