1stly I would like to say thank you to everyone for their help. As you know I didn't want to look like a parinoid mother! Ok had emergency appointment with oncology at 9 am and just got home. Yes they do think it is a relapse! They are totally certain but they need to confirm it. He has a biopsy and a bone marrow aspirate on Friday and we won't know the results until Monday / Tuesday! We were so close. 22 months! We only had 2 months left!!!!! If it is localised just to down there then it is 5 weeks of intensive chemo and radiotherapy complete stay in hospital. If it has gone into his bone marrow then - well bone marrow transplant the lot! The complication is that he nearly died with the last chemo! So stoma might have to go back - I would rather that than him dying! They have to have a talk about it! Ok Scared OK!!!! XX

Sorry to hear that.

I can't remember how old he is, but if he's old enough you ought to look into getting some of his swimmers frozen if needs localised treatment. I can't remember whether this is available in the UK though.

Hope it turns out ok.

Cancer is a terrible thing, we've suffered it in our family, as have many on here.

All I can say is that I wish you and your lad the best of luck and hope all comes good in the end.
