If Joe Bloggs is anything like me he probably doesn't have any savings anyway.

You guys think they'll go bust?

My work mate was looking to buy shares in them today!! (RBS). Luckily he doesn't have a share trading account or he'd be a poor man.

So support the bank by buying loads of shares for next to nothing. Shure Lee the price must go back up again at some time?

You've got to be thinking that the Lloyds TSB/HBOS deal is now dead in the water.

The 0.83 a Lloyds share offer is now over double the value of a traded HBOS share.

Jesus christ. Is it all sentiment or do people really believe they can't trade their way out of this?

They cant, essentially.

There is no money, there is trillions of unquantifiable risk carried on balance sheets of companies that cannot be traditionally valued, all sorts.

It is one massive financial clusterfk - and you can take that to the bank!

Business aquiantance of ours bought £330k of RBS yesterday on the assumption they must now be 'cheap'. Ah well, I'm sure he only risked what he could afford to lose.
