Next time he does it, tell him you're coming around to his house with a big knife.

tell him he's got the wrong number then give him the number of a really expensive chat line.

Make his dad pay for not bringing the little st up properly.

That or threaten to kill his whole family. Should scare him a bit.

Say in most menacing voice possible that you know who he is, and you are coming to kill him, mummy and daddy and anyone else dumb enough to be in his house at the time!

How about a quiet word with his father?

Or is that too obvious?

Doing anything like that risks the other family reporting you and getting you into a bit of trouble.

Personally I'd just go round to their house and talk to the lad's parents.

Do 1471 and phone him back, ask to speak to him and pretend to be a copper.

Nope.

1471 then speak top the school AND the cops.

A year or two ago my daughter's friend was having this but on her mobile. The school involved the police who went to the lad's home. They had his phone number and made it clear that they were taking it seriously.

You might have some fun but in the meantime your son's still being bullied.

When you know it's him on the other end start screaming really loudly. Should make him jump.

Similar thing happened to my boy.

Reported nuisance calls to BT who arranged an intercept.

Plod came to listen to recordings.

Plod then rang the perp up on his mobile and asked him to report to police station, or else they would come and get him.

Perp got a caution.

Whole thing took less than 36 hrs to sort out.

Without wanting to belittle the very real impact of bullying, I am loving the use of 'perp' in this case.
