I'm trying to find a large greenhouse in the middle of nowhere.

Red Star Trading
Konneweg 2c
3234 KG Tinte
P.O.box 110
3230 AC Brielle
the Netherlands

It's a large tomato plant, so if anyone knows any easy routes to get there or ones to avoid from the airport, it will be much appreciated.

Satnav?

Though if the address is a PO Box are you sure that it is the 'farm' itself?

I'll be using a car and don't have SatNav sadly.

I have no idea on the address, it's a bloody bog greenhouse, they grow tomatoes, but apart from being told it's big and in the middle of nowhere I will just have to pootle about till I see it probably.

Surely, put "3234 KG Tinte Netherlands" into Google maps (looks like NL Postcode and basic location)?
The second one is presumably the postal address.

Do check, I'm not Dutch.

OK - there are two addresses there

Red Star Trading
Konneweg 2c
3234 KG Tinte

and

P.O.box 110
3230 AC Brielle
the Netherlands

I put 'Konneweg 2 3234 KG Tinte' into Google Maps (maps.google.co.uk) and it did indeed come up as somewherepretty remote, though only about 5 miles from Rotterdam Europort

Ok, that makes more sense, I kind of no that area better.

Oddly the first place I checked said it was in the North East of the country, so for whatever reason I was being a pleb.

Cheers for that chaps, I'll bring back a tomato !

www.locatienet.nl is the equivalent of RAC/AA type route planner, so as has already been mentioned, if you type in the postcode and house number, you will get an idea (I'm English but I live here BTW).

To help start you off, Brielle is south west of Rotterdam, not a million miles from the Europort ferry terminal. Where will you be driving from??

Sat Navs can be had for little money these days. After several hours of driving all over Holland not having a clue where you are, or where you need to go. You would happily pay twice what a sat nav costs just to ease the stress.

A little bit of googling got the following:

Cor en Dirk van der Kaaij
Red Star Trading
Konneweg 2c
3234 KG Tinte
Tel.: (0181) 48 80 00
Fax: (0181) 48 80 10
www.redstar-trading.nl

which is the visiting address of the company (still in the Brielle area)

Their website doesn't have a route map unfortunately, but at least you have the physical address now :-)

Tell me about it.

I spent 3 hours or so completely lost with the girlfriend on speaker phone trying to say some of the names of the places round there, it was laughably bad haha.

As soon as my brain twigged that the port numbers lead you everywhere though, it was as easy as pie.

That Holland AA planner is brilliant, thanks for that, I intend to get a room at the Tulip opposite the airport, so much easier to get around from and the rooms there were fine.
