I've had a subscription renewal offer for GQ magazine for 12 months at £39.00.

I've looked on the internet at the magazine subscription services and get it readily for around £26 for the 12 months. (And am going to do so).

So how come the price disparity, or are GQ trying to fleece existing subscribers? I'd like to think they'd look after customers they already have.

yes

So many sales companies are so short-sighted about how they treat existing customers.

Just look at the mobile phone companies.

And it's so fair up it's own arse now it should still be a gay magazine.

It's a terrible magazine now.

It is ridiculous. There are no decent mens magazines now. I had more entertainment* reading Nuts than I did reading GQ.

Half the magazine is adverts, half the rest is adverts disguised as articles and the rest is just ostentatious rubbish and dire fashion advice.

"Which matching luggage for your Aston Martin"

"Which wines to try at the Fat Duck"

"Which IWC watch collection to buy"

* not talking about girly pics either

.... and ended up being nothing more than 200 pages of the gayest Jean Paul Gaultier ads ever conceived
