Like saying that Himmler was a pleasant Nazi - still a Nazi.

The words 'Sausage' and 'Oxford Street' spring to mind though.

Funny no other councils take notice of their legal obligation to give families a bedroom each.

Shock horror - landlord manipulates the market and gets top-rate rent for his property. Local council is stuck because it cannot find anywhere else to put up people and lets face it, most landlords DONT want anything to do with council tenants....

So this chap has manipulated the situation to his own gain. The council is stuck and the Afgan refugee has very little to do with this. Symptomatic of the ludicrous situtation we currently have with house prices, landlords and unsustainable rents....

Will happen today, tomorrow and for years to come. Get used to it.....

And yes, it really annoys the hell out of me too, but what can I do? Get angry?

For the life of me I can't work out why the rules seem to state that an 8-member family HAS to have a 7-bedroom property in the first place.

Its simply maths, I'm sure even the chavs can work this one out. You can imagine the maths lessons in schools now-a-days:

'If Charmane-Chardonay-Melissa has 3 kids with two different fathers and manages to claim child benefits off 4 fathers how much will she manage to skank in benefits from these fathers and from the government per year?'

Now why is it they deserve a bedroom each? Just run that one by me again, surely there are millions of working families in the country where kids share bedrooms.

oh my god, what is going on in this country.
