Blimey

I don't know whether I'd feel a bit weird or not knowing that I had the arms of a dead person.

ETA: Does that mean he also has somebody elses fingerprints now?

I'm sure if you'd been without your arms for a few years you really wouldn't care yes

Good point, may have a few waking up in the middle of the night sweating moments after a dream with the line from Father Ted "THESE ARE FAKE ARMS!" ringing in my head.

I'm sorry but this had me in stitches:

"It was hard -- I waited by the phone and every time it rang I thought 'the time has come.' And after three months it did,"

I think he would have thought 'how do I answer this thing'

I reckon at some point his arms will "go evil" and he'll wake up with them covered in someone else's blood - only to find he has murdered his wife in the night. He'll go on the run and end up a nomad, having to move from town to town after his evil arms have brutally dismembered another victim.
