I'm looking at getting a touch-up pen for the enevatable stone chips on the nose of my Chimaera, however I couldn't find the colour listed in Halfords, so, does anyone know which manufacturer, if any, other than TVR used Cooper Green?

Many thanks

Tim

Someone posted the Halfords colours that match (I think Rover did one to). See if you can find that thread.

From a thread a few weeks back: "Yes its Halfords own BRG metallic. I also have some Hycote Rover BRG Metallic spray."

If you got the paint code give Webbs Auto's of Bristol a ring, sorted me out.

Check the code in the hand book and under bonnet match, mine didn't, so you might have to find which one matches best.

VW Dragon Green could do the trick.

It depends on the year of your Chimaera but I should think yours is the later Cooper Green body code MFA3B. This is TVR's own mix, Halfords might not be able to mix this. The early Cooper Green was Rover (Rover colour code HNA). If its just touch up you need I'v got some you can have.

Thanks Jon,

I've checked the commisssion plate and it says:

P422 - 2382B

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm not sure which of these is the paint code, I guess that since it doesn't match the code you gave then it's the early Rover BGR colour, I see from Halfords that there are two variants, a metalic and a pearl. The Chim doesn't seem to be a pearl so can I assume it's the metallic?

Thanks for you help everyone.
