Is there any news on a split roof option. Is anybody possibly interested offering such a solution? I am definitely interested and would buy one right away! Handling the standard roof is just so tedious!
Thanks

I have been trying to find out about these roofs for ages, I have emailed them three times, and nobody has ever bothered to reply with updates of production times etc.

Pointless advertising the idea if they are not going to follow it up with a product or info!

True, I emailed them asking to be kept up to date with developments. Nothing heard. I might take a run up there soon just to see how it's going.

The reason I didn’t buy one at Rockingham was I didn’t like the exterior finish.

They had moulded it with an exterior that looked like a poor imitation of 1970’s vinyl roof.

They didn’t offer a finish to match the original. They suggested that I replace the rear hood and cover their panel with matching fabric at the same time. So I was waiting until I need a new roof, probably this winter.

What I really wanted was a finish like the carbon fibre look that my original roof has on the inside. But I wanted the carbon fibre look inside and out. As this hasn’t got marked in fourteen years it must be ok. It wouldn’t suit everyone, but I have a black Griff and I think a Carbon fibre look roof would look right on my car.

Yea that's my roof design and we've cut it accross the panel as opposed to back to front. The idea was to make the seal easier to make water proof and enable you to put the panels on top of anything that was in the boot.
Like everything, not as easy as it sounds in theory as we're trying to make something that's repeatable rather than a 'one-off'.

Everytime I post someone says that. biggrin I didn't say the front to back cut doesn't seal or fit it's just another solution that appeared to make easier to seal. biggrin
