Also interested in what you think of the video from a technical/artistic viewpoint wink

Thanks

very impressive.
I know JBS have got quite a good reputation tuning 20VT VAG units, some of their own cars and customer cars are running some serious horse power so i guess this is a obvious progression now R32 are little cheaper.

A R32 turbo and or supercharger conversion isnt anything too new in itself, i have seen a couple of bi-turbo conversions to running 600hp and Storm developments have a rotrex charged R32 conversion but that JBS car seamed to really shift although it would be better (and more legal) to of taken it out om a track to show off its performance.

The video quality was good, the rolling shots look awesome and the sound=wow!

Yep, the Canon HV30 is a lovely little camera... my friend filmed it and edited it, and we are both into our cars so thought it was worth a show for the sound alone biggrin

I believe that JBS bought an HPA R32 to try out, apparently selling it on relatively cheap now, and I was tempted for a while after watching this video... biggrin
I'm not sure what the HPA was doing power/delivery wise, but it was pretty well received as far as I know, and this conversion is apparently a little better again.

I have been having a good look at R32's in the classifieds again anyway. Lovely cars... MKIV looks with the MKV exhaust sound would be ideal for me!

Cheers

Are you or your mate working for JBS then? Or were you just asked to make a video for a bit of promo work.

id very much like to be in a position to pick up a early R32, the mk4 an 5 are both seriously good cars and even without forced induction can get enough power out of them to start testing the haldex system.

Ive always been a fan of the 6cyl VW stuff, VR6s and 4motions always tempt me so much. A 2000 4motion would be a sly buy right now before the tax rates change, i suppose its like a poor mans R32.

My friend just knows a few people there, he's always telling me of the fancy cars they have there, and he wanted to try out his new camera and do something cool video wise as thats what he is into smile

Yep, they are nice cars. I like the R32 quite a bit, it's the only fairly modern representation of my old XR4x4 Sierra. 4x4, big NA 6 pot, lovely sound, and fairly comfy... No one else comes close on offering that combo except VW with the R32.

If I recall correctly, AMD do some NA upgrades for the R32, something like 280bhp... I bet even with that bit extra they are pretty nippy vs standard... biggrin
